Dear Joey, The other day one of my dogs, a large golden retriever named Aire, decided to roll around on top of a dead bird. You could imagine what he smelled like afterwards. Of course this happens around 8:00PM when it is getting dark and only a couple of days after he was groomed. I run a Rescue and Hospice. I have dogs that are unable to be groomed on a regular basis due to the fact that they are just to weak and sick. Also on a daily basis, I recieve dogs from other local shelters as well as the New York City Shelter System.
